Cost: Included for all registered fulltime, student and IPC member delegates, as well as YIT two day and YIT Monday day delegates

Additional tickets: A$65 per person for all other one and two day registrants and guests

YIT networking dinner

Venue: River Room, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

Time: 1930 – 2230 hours

Cost: Included for registered YIT fulltime, YIT two day and YIT Monday day delegates

Additional tickets: A$75 per person for all other registrants and guests

All delegates are invited to attend the YIT networking dinner, however space will be first allocated to YIT registrants followed by other registrants subject to space availability at the venue. Regrettably tickets cannot be guaranteed for non-YIT registrants.

Information Technology is an exciting and growing career option with constantly expanding opportunities revolutionising almost all areas of business and society. Against this backdrop the evidence seems to point to a reduction in the involvement of women in the ICT industry right from the number and percentage of women enrolling for ICT courses at universities through to low representatio of women in ICT leadership and the top jobs of CIO and company directors.

The 2010 National Pearcey Medal Dinner

Time: 1900 – 2230 hours

The dinner will celebrate the awarding of the 13th Pearcey Medal, Australia's most prestigious ICT Annual Award, to an individual who has made a truly outstanding contribution to Australia's ICT industry. More information available at the Pearcey Foundation website.

Cancellation policy (social events)

The congress reserves the right to cancel or vary optional activities if minimum numbers are not reached.
Regrettably, optional social functions and additional ticket cancellations cannot be refunded if participation is cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the event.
